Located on the shore of Chao Lake, one of the largest lakes in China, Wanda Vista Hefei is an urban resort that offers sweeping lake views.
The interior design features the white walls, black tiles and grey bricks typical of the Huizhou-style architectures. While respect is given to the aesthetic basis of order and symmetry of the Huizhou-style architecture, the Horse Head Shaped wall as well as Four Treasures of the Chinese Study (writing brush, ink stick, ink slab and paper) with local cultural characteristics are adopted as the design elements to express the design theme of “Impression on Huizhou”. The design explores the decoration materials unique to Hefei and presents them in the form of 3 Sculptures of Huizhou (brick sculpture, wood sculpture and stone sculpture), which are blended with the typical white, black and grey of Huizhou and the natural blue and green colors to offers a spatial experience that is understated, elegant, natural and casual.
