LIV Hospitality Design Awards Celebrates Global Design Excellence at Budapest’s Iconic Four Seasons Gresham Palace
The LIV Hospitality Design Awards held an exclusive ceremony at the iconic Four Seasons Gresham Palace in Budapest on April 14th, 2023, to celebrate the winners of the 2020-2021 and 2022 editions. The event was a momentous occasion to recognize and honor the exceptional achievements of hospitality design professionals from all corners of the world.
Co-founders of the LIV Hospitality Design Awards, Astrid Hebert and Hossein Farmani, presided over the ceremony. The winners were presented with their trophies to resounding applause from the guests, as they took the stage to bask in the recognition of their achievements. Distinguished jury members of the LIV Awards, Monika Moser and Tarek Hegazy, added to the prestige of the occasion. Moser, Chief Operating Office of Campbell House, is a “hotelier at heart,” with over 25 years of operational hospitality industry experience. Hegazy, with his long and illustrious career spanning over 33 years, and as the CEO and Creative Director of Living Design, brought a wealth of expertise to the panel.
Industry leaders from around the globe attended the ceremony, including Pure Design Studio, winners of the title of Architectural Design of the Year 2022, an Architecture Office firm centered around Hospitality Architecture – YOD Group from Kyiv, Ukraine, talented designers from COR London Studio, Scott Whittaker, Group Creative Director and chair of dwp’s design council, Mansoor Al Harbi, Emerging Architect of the Year 2022, and more.
Bringing together over 120 talented architects and designers from 22 countries, the LIV Hospitality Design Awards ceremony was a truly international affair, showcasing the excellence of the hospitality industry. The event left attendees feeling inspired and excited about the future of design, and it was a testament to the power of creativity and innovation in shaping the world around us.
Unveiling the Winners: LIV Hospitality Design Awards 2020 Celebration
On June 26th, 2021, the 1st Annual LIV Hospitality Design Awards winners celebration stream took place. The jury panel, composed of 36 talented and experienced professionals in the Hospitality Design field, shortlisted 54 projects, which received an average score of over 80/100 points, and selected the winners of the first edition of the LIV Hospitality Design Awards.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the LIV Awards board decided to host an online event, where they congratulated all the winners, revealed the 54 shortlisted projects, and announced the “Designers of the Year” in different categories, including Architectural Design of the Year, Interior Design of the Year, and Emerging Architect and Interior Designer of the Year.
The LIV Awards are committed to celebrating diversity and quality in Architectural ventures and Interior Design that shape the Hospitality industry. With an inclusive platform, the awards aim to showcase exceptional talent and creativity from all around the world.
