Hotel Haya is a unique lifestyle hotel concept nestled in historic Ybor City. Designed by Albert Alfonso, the hotel provides its guests with premier hotel amenities & reflects the distinctive layers of one of Tampa's most vibrant neighborhoods. The 140,000 sqft property features 178 guest rooms, fine dining, a pool area, & event space. The project blends the existing 19th-century buildings with new construction. EWI retrofitted the buildings' interiors to maintain the historic facades & storefronts while transforming the property into a modern beacon of hospitality. Behind walls, builders found original brick & hand-painted reproductions of works by Francisco Goya. The hotel features exceptional finishes unlike anything else in Tampa. Alfonso & EWI took a high-design approach, including Venetian Plaster, terrazzo floors, end-grain wood flooring, & custom steelwork. By assembling a team of top-tier artisans & materials, they created a space that is not only seen but felt. In every detail, history is honored & homage paid to the neighborhood, including in the hotel's name- taken from Ybor founding father, Ignacio Haya. Hotel Haya is now the talk of the town & Crown Jewel of Ybor.
