Yi Wuxi (originally Wuxi Jinjiang Hotel), is quite well known among the locals. The hotel is located in the prime area of Sanyang Plaza in the downtown area. It is a landmark hotel in Wuxi City. The revolving restaurant on the 28th floor is favored by local citizens. Jinjiang Hotel started its operation from June 28, 1998. After an expansion with an investment of CNY 600 million in 2006, its new building was put into use in 2011. During the operation over the past decade, it has greatly impressed many people in Wuxi.
The design of Yi Wuxi is based on the storyline of “Stories over the time”, integrating elements of A Dialogue with the Time, Time Traveling, and Time Fusion. All the rendering is expressed and unfolded through theatrical imaginations. Such design aims to convey the core values of Yi Wuxi, i.e. pursuit of life aesthetics, respect for yourself, and self statement.
