The Langham is the first Gold Coast development with beachfront access to be built in over 30 years.

The hotel commands a breathtaking absolute beachfront location between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach with extensive views of the coast and the hinterland.

The design teams collaborated closely with the client and the operator in workshops where they challenged preconceptions and interrogated design ideas and standard details.

The design, materiality and colour palette give a nod to the sub-tropical climate and superb beach location whilst maintaining the signature elements and quality that are quintessentially Langham
The guest experience and journey were paramount.

From the generously proportioned arrival spaces with their soaring ceilings and abundant natural light, transitioning into the bar and lounge area, where decorative screening is used to create more intimate spaces overlooking the pool.

The interior language changes and develops as the guests make their way to the restrained interiors of the guest rooms, yet the story is one of continuity that is established at the front door.
