Kona Village is an iconic Hawaiian retreat redesigned after a destructive tsunami closed its doors in 2011. The resort features open-air Public Spaces, 150 Suites & Hales all seamlessly integrated within the landscape. Hale Moana, the resort's main restaurant showcases bespoke furnishings by local craftsmen & commissioned art installations. Public spaces abound, from the family pool to Talk Story bar, evoking the site's storied past. The Kahuwai Cookhouse & Market, nestled by an archaeological site, offers a taste of local cuisine, while Ocean Pursuits invites guests to explore the bay's wonders. Shipwreck Bar, housed in a restored sailing ship & an elevated adult pool provide exclusive retreats among palm groves. The spa & fitness center offer rejuvenation amidst volcanic landscapes, with views of Hual?lai & Mauna Kea. Hales & Suites immerse guests in the island's diverse microenvironments, reflecting the colors & energy of their surroundings. Throughout the resort, a sense of "barefoot luxury" pervades, embracing simplicity with refined materials & textures. In collaboration with the Cultural Committee, Kona Village showcases Hawaiian artistry, honoring the island's heritage.
