We created a vibrant, indoor-outdoor living experience aimed at oenophiles, foodies, art buffs & outdoor enthusiasts. Working with the client, we provided a rich neutral palette with color accents in accessories & artwork. Honest materials & natural textures create warmth, softness & understated luxury.
Full-height window walls focus on the hills & trees beyond. Cantilevered terraces feature large fire pits & inviting seating groups. On the living level, a custom stainless steel soaking tub is integrated into the deck. On the bedroom terrace, the outdoor swing is already an owner favorite.
A 200-bottle wine case greets the owner at entry. The open kitchen, living & dining rooms are all oriented toward the views. The floating staircase introduces dramatic art & locally made lighting. The interior palette–with hand-tufted wool rugs, nubby fabrics & leather-wrapped furnishings–creates relaxing, urbane spaces. Natural curves contrast the linear architecture.
