The restaurant is the heart of every senior citizens' residence - and the Augustinum Klein-Machnow is no exception. At lunchtime, the restaurants in the Augustinum are always fully occupied - sometimes even two complete seated meals are required, so that there is a lively coming and going here. However, the necessary capacity of seats is not conducive to breakfast, café and evening business. Considerably fewer residents come to these meals. Our proposal to redesign only a part of the area and to screen it visually with a real wood screen creates an elegant solution here. You can now serve the small, separate area at quieter times without it becoming uncomfortable and gain a lot of flexibility by dividing it up. For lunch the partitions are opened and thus connect the room to a large unit.
