The Stafford is an ongoing refurbishment for Rosendale Design, which started with the redesign of The Game Bird restaurant (completed 2017). The success here led to the hotel entrusting Rosendale Design with the full redesign of its main house, inclusive of its destination bar, The American Bar and its bedrooms. The Park View Suite is a new maisonette suite at The Stafford boasting views towards the London Eye and Parliament. This was born from an architectural study by Rosendale and took what was once 2 small rooms, one of which overlooked a sprawling empty roof, and combined them creating a super suite. Colour ways, fabrics and art selected throughout the hotel is to reflect the hotel’s close proximity to Green Park. With elements of the building dating back to the 17th Century, the newly design rooms and suites are all individual and each ensuite and every fixed item of furniture was designed bespoke to each room.
The American Bar, which belongs to the great tradition of the American cocktail bars that became renowned in London and Paris during the 1920s and 30s, and remains one of the longest surviving American bars
