The renovation of the overall public areas and the upgrading of the hotel’s guestrooms emphasize the sense of space and de-luxury.

A large staircase is brought into the atrium to connect the first floor to the second floor with the guesthouses and to serve as a grandstand for events. The shared office concept was introduced by the removal of the original dining bar; it has been added with a library, meeting rooms, and movable office seats to meet the rest and light business needs of the guests.

In the conception for the penthouse suites, we found out the relatively small layout. With the development of the hotel and the recent early-stage survey report, we maintained that we should bring business back to basics, as hotels with unique design and humanistic sentiments have become the trend. As a result, we have combined the two adjacent suites with the best window views (overlooking the direction of the Forbidden City) into one. It was rearranged to accommodate both a master room and a guest room without interfering with each other and with independent exits. Also providing a space for a larger number of unique customers, who want to hosting Party outside their home in this region.
