In The Prince Albert the first half of the 19th century dominates and exudes in the space. Here and now, in the space, the British has expression.
A new pub emerges, built on the previous premises, but where royalty and the Victorian era par excellence are in breath.
The space of the pub was reformulated, the service areas were restructured, the space was changed improving functional relations. The users can now enjoy a wide, glamorous space, adequate to the period that is intended to be highlighted, where colours and materials that contribute to the image of refinement associated to the figure of Prince Albert stand out.
On the outside, the façade was restored, and the new painting was based on colours that involve the imagination and remind us of Prince Albert: red, black and gold.
Inside, the colours, lighting and fabrics blend together and ennoble the pub. The ceiling, with artistic plastic treatment, takes us to a nocturnal and rich atmosphere. The metallic, golden rings illuminate, energise and bring magic to the space. The colour of the oxidised aged copper transport us to the past, which we don't want to forget. Paintings and objects remind us of the famous Victorian era.
Bio António Fernandez Architects is an architecture and urbanism company, which throughout its existence has been developing several projects in different areas, such as housing, equipment, commerce and services, also dedicating itself to the design of furniture and graphic design integrated in the works that creates.
The architecture office is also dedicated to the design of the space environment, either small or large scale, instilling in its creation the same rigor and devotion in the idealization, realization and materialization of the architectural and design works that it conceives.
