By the Longluan Lake and next to a straight highway stand two three-story townhouses symmetrical in form, with their moderate volumes and simple modern concrete structures—Vineyard Clubhouse. The owner seeks to create a manor-style guest house that is low-profile but refined, modern but traditional, on this scenic estate with its face to the sea and back to the mountains, integrating landscaping and mini-fengshui to adjust the mental, physical and spiritual magnetic field. Thus a unique getaway combining nature and aesthetic comes into being. Inspired by nature, the architect bases the design on the interplay of the five elements to initiate the good circle of heaven, humanity and earth, applying how the universe works and circulates to the spatial design. In this way, a simple, serene living environment is made a reality, shaping a quiet, rustic spiritual domain.
