THESIS PROPOSAL:
In reaction to pressures to explore new ways of fighting climate change, it is vital to consider sustainable solutions more than ever, such as the adaptive reuse of an existing building. It helps in reduction of building materials needed to transform a space. Reusing oil rigs as something that contributes to the greater good: provide new energy sources, food production, and repurpose for a better future for the next generations.

The afterlife of oil rigs leads to a societal, political, and environmental concern, what happens to them once it is nearing its end of its working lifespan? Creators of this massive structure cannot simply walk away from their creation. In that case, there are two options, which is either decommissioning the structure or leaving it.
Speaking of branding, the logo design of this project was inspired by the movement of the ocean. The ocean is a symbol of power, strength, life, mystery, hope and boundlessness. It represents the movement of energy within the sea.
