The hotel places its guests just one block from the main square in the historic center of the city of Querétaro, which since 1996 UNESCO declared as a World Heritage Site and therefore, all the buildings located in the historic quadrant of the city are protected by the National Institute of Anthropology and History, the project site used to be a house previously remodeled in the seventies, but still contained much of the original construction, the design process focused on preserving the historical character of the building and at the same time reinterpret the great cultural heritage of the city.
The project is divided into three zones: The main patio with the fountain of the palm tree flanked by a series of vertical beams that serve on the upper floor to form the glass corridors that lead to the rooms and at the same time on the ground floor function as a filter to give the rooms more privacy , providing the patio and creating a cozy atmosphere while the wood manages to accentuate the verticality of the space, directing our gaze to the splendid intense blue of the Queretaro sky.The library, which serves as the central node of the scheme, has a three-level bookcase that goes toget
