Most of public functional spaces are within first level of the hotel. There are lobby, lobby bar( a multi-function space including library, tea house and coffee bar), restaurant, meeting rooms, game room, kid’s club and retail. The entire space is inserted with structures of square boxes, which divides the space up into different functional areas. The space is open yet given enough privacy for each area. It is the “soul and mind” of the hotel, with thoughtful details and lively imaginations, at the same time possess comprehensive functionality.
Materials used include terrazzo, cement panel, cast-in-place cement, raw ceiling, antique bronze, and self-leveling flooring. The overall cement colour scheme, interspersed with antique bronze material, which forms a strong contrast between rough and delicate. Modern furniture and lamps complement each other to create an artistic space that longs for original natural texture while pursuing modern technology and craftsmanship.
Primitive texture is an important element of this hotel, returning to the essence of life, listening to the innermost voice.
