Casa Delfi is located in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, on the southwest coast of Mexico. The project is conveniently located just a ten-minute walk from the beach, making it an attractive destination for tourists. It consists of a vertical residential building of eight vacation rental suites. The contemporary architectural style harmonizes with a strategic layout, including a blind main façade and a double façade, to provide comfort, privacy, and an active interior beach environment. This layout prioritizes the experience within the building, emphasizing livability.
The rooms are efficiently arranged in the center, allowing for peripheral circulation and optimal use of available space. A staircase located at the rear of the residence connects all levels. The project's materiality was carefully selected to mitigate thermal impact, maintaining a pleasant temperature throughout the interior, and to ensure easy maintenance and longevity, particularly in an area prone to erosion.
Vegetation envelops the internal perimeter, providing a warm contrast to the predominant white façade. Endemic species of palms and ferns reinforce the project's subtropical connection to its surroundings.
