Nothing But Design x Honglu, jointly created an oriental aesthetic Sichuan-Cantonese fusion cuisine restaurant with the design theme of “elegant feast in the garden”. The design team has injected an immersive experience approach to blend the life scenes of ancient literati into the modern city, to interpret traditional oriental aesthetics with a contemporary deconstructed language, and to encounter a side of calmness and serenity in the bustling city, which delivers a distinctive oriental mood and a brand new way of life.
Honglu appears to be concealed in a corner of the mountains, which is tranquil and low-key. The black and white minimalist block facade of the building is matched with a partly hidden and visible wooden grille turnstile, which can be glimpsed inside when it is half-opened, revealing a little bit of the interior. The Chinese ink painting screen with the theme of “bamboo”, one of the Four Great Gentlemen of ancient times, echoes the ink painting-like marble outdoor reception desk, which is calm and restrained, elegant and tranquil, as if it is receiving guests from all over the world, and elaborating on the far-reaching origin of Oriental aesthetics in detail.
