Novotel Dongguan is located on the south side of Dongguan Songshan Lake, the first Novotel hotel in Dongguan, only 1.5 kilometers from Huawei's terminal R&D base, near the dense area of R&D institutions and corporate headquarters. Therefore, the design positioning of the hotel focuses on high-tech people, integrating "technology" and "nature" into the design concept. The design team tries to construct a "space-object-person" trinity scene experience, taking "planet and future world" as the keyword, "technology and space" is an important medium in space, every "human" individual is an "explorer" of the universe, curiosity and courage allow us to travel through the infinite starry sky, and explore the truth in the vastness and rapid change.When such an internationally renowned business hotel brand comes to Dongguan, China, we need to consider more issues of "local culture" and "market demand". How to combine leisure and travel, combine the brand concept of Novotel with local culture, and create a unique Novotel hotel that belongs to the local area, has always run through our design concept and practice.
