The predecessor of Hilton Shigatse Hotel is the old Shigatse Hotel built in 1985, which is the first batch of modern buildings completed in Tibet, engraved with the symbols of Tibetan culture and memory of the local generation, inherited high-quality service and hospitality, and sent people's yearning for the highest-end hotel at that time. Within the building, Chengdu Slow Town Hotel Design Co. Ltd. has thoughtfully retained the grand lobby and banquet hall architecture as well as the caisson ceiling of the old Shigatse Hotel, preserving the beautiful memories.For the interior spaces, the design is intended to infuse the atmosphere with a Tibetan charm, drawing inspiration from traditional Tibetan street layouts but employing more advanced technology and architectural innovation.Simultaneously, the design team has introduced an original concept by using musical instruments as miniature landscape pieces, transforming these tangible instruments into subtle expressions within the hotel's decor, wall adornments, and sculptural details.These additions not only infuse a deep sense of musical delight but also amplify the space's artistic expression with a positively emotional impact.
