In the heart of the city, this 16-story hotel is a culinary & cultural destination for locals & travelers alike. Its urban location inspired the modern, industrial design that extends across the hotel, office & residential building exteriors of the city block’s development. The appropriateness of the boutique hotel’s scale was a primary focus to ensure it can stand alone & not beholden to the other structures that are physically connected but not essential to the hotel experience. The progression of Epicurean Atlanta’s architectural layout is akin to the courses of a fine meal. Like Hor D’Oeuvres, the exterior is pleasing to the eye, tasteful & easy to take in. The entry, created by a glass canopy with delicate features, is the Entrée as it introduces the main stages of the hotel’s experience. The Main Course is the hotel lobby & is an integral part of the restaurant. The building’s arrangement stacks vertically & the Second Course, the Ball Room & Food Theater all served by a second commercial kitchen, are located on level 9. These slightly thematic yet highly functional spaces adjoin the courtyard & pool-side eatery boasting skyline views & serving as the perfect palate cleanser.
