FRANK is a restaurant chain that combines elements of street style and rap culture. The restaurant team approached us to have their first restaurant in Dubai created.
The ground floor is more family-orientated and about authenticity. The atmosphere is based on associations with backyard grill parties. It is an open bright space with a green backyard, a basketball hoop, a grill, where a group of friends enjoys the upbeat music. Here you can enjoy iconic ribs and socialise with friends or family.
The vibe of the first floor is more party-bar-like, with an atmosphere of an afterparty following a backyard grill party. Dimmed lights, neon accents, rough designs, and metal finishes. This space symbolises the transition from day to night. There is an allusion to a pool party, part of the hall is made in resemblance with a pool: tiled with lanes and with a bar to distribute beer placed inside. The other half of the hall is made in resemblance with a ramp for skaters. In one part of the hall, there is an oval gambling table, but instead of keeping it for the games, we built in a fridge with drinks.
