Rai-Iz is a unique hotel type project. It is going to be the first ski resort beyond the Arctic Circle. This touristic complex is located in the lowlands of the mountain range of mountain Rai-Iz and has a design of a european chalet. Rai-iz will mostly be made of wood-like materials - hpl panels and aluminum composite panels. Some of the latest technologies and non typical solutions were included.
The unique trait of the project is the location. Rai-Iz is one of the oldest mountains on planet Earth. Two millions years ago its height was around 8 kilometers, which makes it even taller than Everest is now. Now Rai-Iz is not more than 1400 meters but the landscape with the mountain rivers, gardens and mountains is still breathtaking and unique. 6 months out of a year northern lights can be observed in the resort. So the visitors can enjoy the spectacular view that is impossible to see anywhere else during skiing.
The architecture is also unique and is in fact a master plan that includes all the delights that are necessary for a modern consumer. Rai-Iz can be exploited all the year around, not only to ski. On the territory a 4 star hotel and a 3 star hotel will be located.
