The Galaxy Bar is a part of the Beijing Mountain Valley project, standing as the sole bar within the development and serving as the venue for nighttime gatherings, entertainment, and social activities. During the daytime, it transforms into a cosy spot offering Western-style light meals and coffee, with a capacity of 60 seats. The design also includes a waterside outdoor area to enhance the ambience, as well as indoor spaces dedicated to various entertainment activities such as live performances, football, billiards, and darts.
The design brief for the Galaxy Bar is to create a comprehensive community bar that caters to all tastes, featuring a diverse selection of craft beers, whiskies, cocktails, and a designated area for live performances. It aims to be a leisure spot for the residents and their families, as well as a venue for hosting friends and relatives, and a must-visit destination for stargazing during the summer months. The design approach employs artistic transformation techniques to craft the galactic trajectories and constellation-themed walls, further enhancing the immersive experience.
