Renovation of a 55-year-old prestigious members-only golf course clubhouse on the top of a 360° panoramic hill. The design concept of the grand renewal is a new place to enjoy more than just golf.
The design concept for the entire building is the ‘castle tower’ dreamt up by the founder. Inheriting this history, the stone walls of the castle walls were newly interpreted as a design icon, incorporating a stone walling that connects the inside and outside. The confrontation between the zelkova stump object symbolising history and the minimalist, futuristic chandelier creates a story in the huge atrium space that connects the past and the future.
