Timber-based training centre for football team Como 1907, a serene, light-filled space where architecture nurtures talent. Wood-clad and white-painted, the building opens directly onto the training pitch, creating shifting natural light throughout the day. Clean lines, innovative materials, and a neutral palette support relaxation, focus and determination.
Conceived around the player’s daily routine, the centre is divided between social-relaxation and dining areas, separated by sliding panels. Common areas welcome players and guests in a cosy yet stimulating setting, while the wellness zone offers space for physical and mental recovery, defined by a refined monochrome palette and warm wood tones. Como’s signature blue appears as a subtle accent.
The dining area continues the calming tone, where nutrition supports performance. A granite-topped bar with wood cladding and rounded edges anchors the space.
The project explores themes of seen and unseen, and cinematic framing, with selective visual connections across rooms. Most furnishings are custom-designed to optimise use.
Sustainability is key: local wood and LED lighting reduce impact, reflecting our commitment.
