Located in a listed 19th-century building just steps from Gaudí’s Casa Milà, this project is inspired by the passage of time, the magic of chocolate, and Gaudí’s organic forms.
The design reveals the original stone walls while layering new elements that tell the story of the space. Warm tones, glazed browns, bronzes, and fine woods evoke melted chocolate, from flower to bean to bar.
Prefabricated pieces were combined with handcrafted details—glazed ceramic flowers and berries, bespoke lighting, and custom furniture.
The terrace becomes a tropical oasis, with lush greenery, botanical patterns, and stone-like textures that immerse visitors in a calm, sensory atmosphere.
Managing the build was complex: demolition and wall restoration ran in parallel with the production of custom elements.
Artisans crafted the ceramic décor from the studio’s sketches, while construction workers built lighting fixtures to spec.
The result is an immersive space that fuses storytelling, craftsmanship, and the historical character of its setting.
