The interior of the Japanese coffee shop Moto House embodies elegance, functionality, and thoughtful aesthetics, creating the perfect space for relaxation and socializing.
The design is inspired by the Japanese philosophy of minimalism, where every detail has meaning and fits into a harmonious composition. A warm palette of wooden textures is complemented by soft textiles, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Geometrically refined furniture and well-planned zoning make the space not only visually appealing but also highly functional.
The name Moto House carries a profound meaning. In Japanese, the character “moto” (?) signifies “origin,” “foundation,” or “beginning.” This coffee shop represents a return to the essence of taste, tradition, and a cozy atmosphere, where every coffee bean and every detail of the interior serves a single purpose—to create a space for inspiration and the enjoyment of the moment.
Special attention is given to lighting: a combination of natural light and artificial sources enhances the depth of textures and creates a multi-layered ambiance. Recessed lighting subtly highlights key areas, adding depth and warmth to the space.
Bio UMKYdesign studio started activity in 2015. Today it is a close-knit team of like-minded designers, architects and engineers.
The studio works in the field of commercial interiors, our main objects are restaurants, bars, cafes, offices and hotels. In the design process, we focus on an individual approach to the object and the introduction of experimental art and design solutions that form the final image. Interior design is closely related to both object design and finishing materials, so many pieces of furniture are designed individually.
