Design is all about people. From garden to castle, or the hustle and bustle, every corner of the community is a good place to share sparkles of creativity. As a specialist of creating children playground, Play Concept has been striving to play out of the box, and keeps exploring unlimited possibilities in limited spaces. This year, we designed an outdoor children playground called “Geometric Wonderzoo”, spanning approximately 12,000 square feet in Sau Mau Ping, Hong Kong. It is like an urban oasis for children which is creative, fun, artistic and educational.
It is never enough to satisfy children’s imagination if we create a children playground amidst a bunch of skyscrapers from only a practical point of view. Thus, we and the clients innovatively bring a "zoo" to the urban that allows children to play through it in a fun and interesting way. The 5-metre-tall elephant slide is definitely the protagonist among the many "playable animals". Its ears and body are a metal play structure with ropes and nets, while its trunk is a spiral tube slide for children to feel the joy of sliding after climbing, and complete an imaginative and fun experience.
