This project is situated directly above the Dongmen (East Gate) Station of Taipei Metro, preserving the land's history and the urban changes passed down by three generations of landowners.
The design takes inspiration from East Gate (Jingfumen) of Taipei, capturing its spirit of "welcoming the sun and guarding the city" and blending family feelings with urban culture. Using metal structures and stone proportions, it creates a contemporary landmark at the intersection of culture and daily life.
The building features a 4.2-meter-high entrance, a rose gold exterior, and large windows, creating a distinctive urban facade. From the first-floor hall, public area, and intelligent parking tower to the rooftop pool and the skip-floor suite layout, the design language remains consistent. Unlike typical high-end residences, this project emphasizes "vertical community integration":
2-9F: Hotel-style apartments
Mid-level floors: Two suites on one floor / Single suite on one floor
Top floor: Skip-floor suite, integrating spiral staircase, dual living rooms and terrace
Maximizing the spatial potential in a small base, creating a richly layered urban micro-community.
