Chubbies is a fast-casual culinary project that stands out not only for its burgers but for an architectural design that turns every corner into an immersive experience. Located in Parque La Mexicana, Mexico City, it merges gastronomy and architecture to create a warm, dynamic, and visually engaging environment.

Inspired by Filiulfo—the brand’s cheerful mascot—the restaurant is envisioned as his home: a welcoming place where guests feel at ease. Soft, organic forms drawn from Filiulfo’s morphology shape the space. Orange ceiling arches create playful, enveloping perspectives, while fluid blue bar forms and smooth booths balance aesthetics and function.

Opening onto the park’s fountains, the façade and terrace invite diners in. Flexible seating adapts to gatherings of any size, enhancing versatility. Materials, furniture, lighting, and colors echo the brand’s identity, uniting architecture and cuisine. Chubbies shows how thoughtful design elevates dining—making each visit memorable not only for its flavors but for the space that frames them.
