Umbra Restaurant transforms an underground space in the Regency Hotel into a sanctuary of understated luxury and refined intimacy. At its heart, a golden terracotta bar anchors the layout, guiding circulation and social interaction. The dining area unfolds with varied seating arrangements, while a softly lit planted vivarium offers a calm, contemplative pause. The design celebrates a sophisticated interplay of shadow and light: dark, textured surfaces are offset by golden accents, mirrors, and layered lighting, creating depth and visual intrigue. Every detail — from acoustic ceiling panels to tactile leather wall inserts — is crafted to enhance comfort, sensory experience, and elegance. By turning a basement into a luminous, flexible, and immersive environment, Umbra redefines how intimate hospitality spaces can feel expansive, vibrant, and memorable.
Bio ARCHFORM studio was founded in 2005. Our team is a team of like-minded people, who create unique, recognizable designs. Starting from the concept development of our units and at each stage of implementation we try to reveal the potential and character of each object, create a unique and authentic image.
The studio performs a work package of the architectural design of residential and commercial buildings, the design of interiors of cafes, restaurants, offices and shops.
