Built in 1906, Rosemead House has been reimagined as a 28-room Edwardian boutique hotel that celebrates the art of maximalism—a design language embracing history, ornament, and curiosity. Guided by Lenny Moy, who sourced antiques and artwork from over 200 estate auctions across the UK, the interiors blend heritage craftsmanship with contemporary comfort. Each space tells a story: original oak staircases and stained glass meet velvet, brass, and oil portraits in a rich dialogue between eras. The property’s restaurant, Janevca Kitchen & Lounge, continues the theme with reclaimed fir tables, stained glass, and a sculpted maple tree centrepiece. More than restoration, Rosemead House is a living gallery—an immersive study in beauty, provenance, and the enduring power of design.
