The hotel in Riga is designed around an original narrative that embeds architecture and interiors in the local context of the city. Inspired by Riga’s location and landscape, the concept is based on the idea of “the loop between human, nature and architecture”, expressing the interconnected relationship between these elements.
Nature is present throughout the interiors through biophilic design. Organic forms appear in wallpaper graphics, furniture shapes, artworks and carpet patterns, introducing a sense of softness, movement and natural rhythm. Architecture forms the second layer of the story, creating a dialogue between old and new. References to the building’s history are expressed through leather details and subtle equestrian-inspired accents rooted in the region’s cultural heritage.
The human experience lies at the centre of the concept. The interiors are inspired by the fictional character Harper Wolf—an independent traveller driven by curiosity, art and exploration. Her spirit of freedom and discovery is reflected in the dynamic, layered atmosphere of the hotel, offering guests a place where nature, architecture and people come together in a cohesive experience.
