The Clubhouse at Sa Pa Grand Golf Course is composed as a series of modern functional box volumes extending from the existing structural framework and sheltered beneath a floating roof system above a terraced landscape plinth. The composition is inspired by the understated forms of village roofs and cultivated hillsides of the Northwest mountainous region. Large roof planes and canopies project outward with strong cantilevers, lightly covering the functional areas.
This approach expresses the integration of indigenous cultural forms into a contemporary context. Responding to intense sunlight and heavy rainfall, the projecting roofs create shaded buffer zones at key access points, reduce glare, and ensure comfortable views toward the golf course, further supported by external wooden louvers on the glazed façades.
As the architectural focal point of the development, the Clubhouse shares a unified architectural and landscape language with other components of the golf complex through a steel structural system, while the material palette combines metal and wood to convey modern refinement and warmth aligned with contemporary hospitality.
