With the scenic views of the Aravalli Hills serving as a backdrop, Devi Ratn narrates a story of the heritage-rich city of India, Jaipur, while blending it with an extra-terrestrial design vision.
Spanning over an area of 20 acres, the entire hotel exemplifies bold, big, and captivating with subtle regional nuances. The project, being part of Taj Hotels’ new line of boutique spaces called ‘SeleQtion’ by IHCL, had to have an isolated identity and design language. The central theme of the hotel is "Ratn" (Jewel). This is prevalent in the glistening ceiling design and lighting elements, colourful hues with a composition of vibrant décor items, furniture configurations, and customized soft furnishings depicting Rajasthani culture. The landscaping stimulated by Mughal architecture adds to the regal essence of the space. A hidden gem as part of the boutique hotel is the all-day dining called “Vyom” that offers seating arrangement to experience the clear views of the Aravalli hills.
The team decided to maintain the authenticity of the structure by avoiding any intervention with the civil work which resulted in a harmonious blend of heritage architecture and intricate interiors.

Other prizes Designers Group’s project Devi Ratn has recently been awarded by World Architecture Award in the 34th cycle and Estrade Award 2020 in Leisure Interior category. A private residence designed by them has also won Estrade Award 2020 in Interior Design- Private Residence category.
