This case is a 3.0version hotel product of Cityjoin Hotel, hoping to reconstruct the urban culture through the hotel space and inject a new soul into the city. The hotel is located at No. 1115 Haizhu North Road (near the Ximenkou subway station). The surrounding environment is composed of the two old streets of Yuexiu and Liwan; the city blocks, the cracked arcades, the thousand-year-old pagoda, and the delicious Cantonese food which full of rich Cantonese atmosphere. We want to establish a living space with urban memory here. And we hope that the hotel is not only a accommodation space, but also a vehicle for narrating the city, so that people who come to this city can perceive the imprint of the city and humanistic feelings. The Oriental Concept Design team put forward the concept of de-lobbying public areas through the study of the conditions of the building , breaking the traditional hotel design that the first or the whole floor is a hotel lobby. Combining with the historical and cultural background of the academy in Guangzhou, the public area is defined as an urban academy in the sky. Its functions include reception, leisure, reading, viewing, urban cultural corridors, etc.,
