AT THIS 60-SEAT RESTAURANT, NATURAL OAK AND HIP VINYL FLOORS, NATURAL STONE ACCENT WALLS, WARM FABRICS AND SOPHISTICATED DISHES COME TOGETHER IN AN ALPINE MODERN-STYLE SETTING

Seven years after our major renovation of Döllerer's Genusswelten, the restaurant required a reorganization and extension. The existing floor plan got updated to improve the workflow and table arrangement. A former butcher shop production area was transformed into an intimate addition, the „Döllerer’s Living Room“, to the restaurant for private dining and gatherings. Materials, fabrics and colors were gently upgraded to reflect the alpine region and to merge with the famous dishes and creations served. Chef Andreas Döllerer works almost exclusively with ingredients from suppliers in the Salzburg Alps.

"I ENJOY WORKING MORE THAN EVER IN THIS NEW, INCREDIBLY CREATIVE ATMOSPHERE. I WANTED A STAGE FOR MY CUISINE ALPINE FOLLOWING THE MAKEOVER OF OUR HOTEL WHERE TRADITION AND FUTURE COALESCE" - Andreas Döllerer

Bio
Architect and Friends is a versatile practice engaged in architecture, planning and interiors. We believe that good design improves people's lives. Like the California Modernists we admire and whom we've learned so much from, we endeavor to design from the big idea down to the smallest detail.
Different locations, needs and climates thrive our curiosity to find new possibilities for living and working through the integration of architecture, interiors and landscape.
Our studio collaborates with like-minded architects, designers and craftsmen to create tailor-made, unique projects.
