Located on Na Jomtien beach, not far from fishermen’s village, the resort rests on a 12m-high granite hill inclining down to the sea, where Ang Sila stonemasonry community is nearby. Inspired by the stone hillside site and the craftsmanship of the Ang Sila stonemason, Mason’s architecture is metaphorically sculpted into the slope using material integration of granite stone and concrete. The resort consists of 35-unique-pool-villas and its facilities, including restaurant, spa, fitness, pool and beachside bar. In descending the slope, the cave-like villas are carved on one third of the 48,000 square-meter site, maximizing the sea view, while keeping tranquility and privacy within. The pool villas are divided into 4 room types: Garden, Duplex, Beachside and Beachfront Pool Villa. Each type is located in descending contours with a sea view. Local materials such as granite, terrazzo, and teak wood are used throughout the project. The interior has been crafted from the Ang-Sila sculptors. Black and white film photographs, by Chatchakad Waikawee during the construction period, are used as decoration to reflect the design and construction process from start to finish.
