Ras houses follow the organic nature, interspersed within the existing contours, a series of low-rise interlocked built volumes amidst open courtyards and landscaped gardens create 61 guest-house, 47 hostels & 18 studio-apartments. Deeply recessed windows, open and sheltered courtyards, naturally & cross-ventilated circulation spaces & living spaces contribute towards reduced heat gain and naturally cooled interiors. Color plays an important role in differentiating volumes as well as identifying circulation spaces interestingly while alluding to the colors of the region.
