With its Scandinavian flair and abundant greenery, the hotel attracts locals as well as international guests. By skilfully blending the various interior areas, a very familiar atmosphere was created that befits a family-run hotel.
The atrium is the heart of the hotel. Various elements and types of parquet flooring divide it into different zones, without obstructing the view until the far end. An indoor garden with a blue-tiled floor stretches across the width of the atrium and serves as a filter. A fireplace adds coziness and, along with the drinking fountain, lush greenery and daylight streaming into the space through the glass roof, reinforces the overall theme of nature. In the café plants create an atmosphere reminiscent of a florist’s shop. Black and white elements characterise the f&b areas. Scandinavian design served as our role model, both in the nature references and in the pared-back factory design of the kitchen. A gallery encircles the atrium on the first floor and provides access to the meeting rooms as well as the co-working space. The dark colour scheme in the hallways leading to the 56 completely refurbished hotel rooms was a conscious design decision.

The project span reaches from interior design and shop design to classical architectural design as general planner in any urban context as well as cultural projects, museum and exhibition concepts.
