This Hilton is located in the new convention and exhibition zone of Bao’an District, Shenzhen, and is adjacent to Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, which is the biggest of its kind in APAC, aiming to build a bridge that promotes communication and connectivity around the world.
Based on the globalization and high-end positioning of the hotel, the designer analyzes the spirit of Shenzhen and the main business of the owner, and meanwhile, integrates the common elements of cultures about shipping, exhibition and the ocean, such as containers and sails, thus conceiving the cultural theme - “carry on the past and open a way for future”.
The interior design values both beauty and practicality. Sofas and long tables in the lobby lounge can be either combined or scattered to meet the requirements both for business meetings and leisure gatherings. Inspired by a propeller spinning around in sea water, the artistic pendant lights weaken the sense of distance of the 8.85-meter-high ceiling while enhancing the quality of the space.
