The hotel located on the edge of the Victoria Falls is based on a traditional African village with the accommodation grouped around the communal facilities. A North African adobe narrative was woven into the architecture and the external colour palette was inspired by the natural colour of the earth around the Victoria Falls.
The resort has the feel of a centuries-old walled city, reflecting the richness and diversity of the land’s heritage. Earth-coloured buildings feature turrets and chimneys, with a large lawn and swimming pool at the centre. Well-polished smooth stone floors combine with colourful mosaic tiles, patterned fabrics and vibrant African artwork to create a sense of place.
