The design of the Argentinian-inspired restaurant group, Gaucho, plays an integral role in the evolution of this iconic brand.
Housed within a Liverpudlian Grade II former banking hall, the concept draws inspiration from the grandeur of the heritage architecture; drawing parallels to the colonial style buildings found within Argentina. The interior ambience is inspired by, and evokes, the atmosphere of the passion-fuelled milonga clubs that bring the Buenos Aires streets alive at night.
Hosting an opulent lounge and dining area, intimate PDR spaces and a dynamic beef counter. The central glowing island bar lights up the room with a performance space on top for mesmerising creative acts.
Touches of faded glamour and layering of South American details have been integrated such as upholstered seating inspired by Gauchos’ horse blankets and bespoke lighting that emulates the powerful whip of a lasso, whilst the facetted mirrored screens reflect the guests watching the energetic atmosphere filling the room, much like bystanders in the infamous salsa clubs.
Injecting new life into the space, an immersive experience has been delivered, exuding intrigue and exclusivity.
