The new hotel in Bangkok’s business district, just a stone’s throw away from the famous Lumpini Park, will definitely be a popular choice for all types of travellers and the exciting F+B offering is sure to draw in the local crowd. The 264 room hotel was designed in line with the Accor brand standards and to suit the immediate surrounding and the type of travellers that are drawn to this part of the city. The overall design concept marries Thai characteristics with modern touches, blending comfort and original design. The aim was to provide an exciting and unforgettable guest experience and design an operationally efficient space for the owner and operator.
The area is known to attract a more younger and ‘hip’ crowd therefore dwp explored more funky thai design concepts. ‘Thai Style festival’ was the overall driving inspiration for the property and each area of the hotel represents different Thai elements through design, colour and patterns. The property represents a journey through Thai culture with each area portraying a different experience and story. dwp worked with various 3rd parties to find deeper ways of representing the design concept and guest journey.
