According to the principle of "commercial first," the designers and the hotel owner have stricken a balance in terms of cost, aesthetics, community atmosphere, and scene interaction. The designers work to build the Gunai hotel into a complex energy hub, where the rest function serves as the cornerstone and the interaction beyond rest is where the enjoyment lies.

“Cost control is essential to achieving business goal under the market logic, especially for commercial hotels. In this way, we used terrazzo with uniform material and different colors to create the walls and floors of each hotel space, in a bid to enhance their aesthetic appeal while maximizing the design's added value”, says the designers.

Simple materials and plain furnishings dominate the visual sense, and a pure environment is created by immersive experiences. A unique warm affinity of the hotel is expressed in the clash of warm tone and dark colors, creating a cozy atmosphere in a city corner. This enables visitors to be fully immersed in the sensory interaction of aesthetics and experience.
