Heythrop Park Hotel, a 337-key Grade II* manor house set within 440 acres in the Cotswolds and built in 1701-1711, underwent a monumental transformation.

Paying homage to the baroque era, but keeping the modern traveler in mind, a distinctive design narrative takes influence from the natural landscape and the people who built and inhabited the property - the Duke, his Italian wife, the architect Thomas Archer and the subsequent owner – Thomas Brassey.

An engaging aesthetic bridges the gap between the charming manor house and the contemporary extension, creating a journey of discovery for the guests. This is illustrated in the details – from hand painted murals, original paintings restored, Italian lace parasols mounted upon a beautiful botanical wallpaper evoking Italian sun-drenched afternoons, to the more industrial ambience of the Brassey bar where the floor tiles, fluted columns and travel inspired artwork nod to Mr Brassey’s famed links to the railways.

The Orangery, 6 lounges, 3 restaurants, 2 bars, a ballroom and theatre each own a captivating identity – capturing the spirit of the building whilst setting the tone for a modern immersive experience.
