'paradiso pure.living' was born with the desire of the owning Spoegler family to create a holistic and conscientious offering centered around vegetarian cuisine, art and the appreciation of the uniquely beautiful landscape. A concept that would expand the perception of the location.
The existing hotel the family had operated for 30 years was re-imagined to maximize energy efficiency, waste reduction, minimize the general environment and improve building biology.
The public areas were reconfigured to create connected expansive spaces with opening up to the surrounding landscape and promoting gathering and exchange through dissolving the distinction between eating and lounging areas.
Changing modern art features prominently throughout creating an engaging contrast to both the reduced interior and the serenity of the surrounding landscape.
The newly configured rooms feature hard-wood floors, floor to ceiling sliding windows leading to spacious terraces, clay-base paint to better regulate humidity, custom designed and regionally produced furniture and lighting (FLOS bespoke), organic mattresses, walk-in showers, TOTO toilets for reduced water use and maximum comfort.
