CONTEMPORARY TRANSLATION
OF TRADITIONAL SINGAPOREAN ARCHITECTURE

THE SUITES - A contemporary shophouse.
Singapore Cross Pollination

The Suites are inspired by the Singaporean shophouse and translated into a contemporary design. Arches and shutters from the Singapore shop house are reinterpreted into beautiful accents on windows, doorways, lighting and mirrors.

We bring in elements that reflect the belt & road, the trade route for SE Asian countries. We commission local artisans from the neighboring countries to beautiful craft the art and styling. These contemporary translations are also found on thorough the room. Indigo Blue, an icon colour for many SE asian countries, creates a bold accent on the glass box shower and accent furniture pieces.
A "cloud bar" takes center stage in the room and is inspired by Singapores billowing clouds in the sky.

All of the furniture are designed specifically for the Project. We wanted to create unique and fun pieces for the spaces, for instance we have added a fireplace in the Atrium.
The ceiling artwork is an abstract motif that represents and show characteristic of flora and fauna, otter, bird, and human faces. I
