This design was for a restaurant in Marrickville in a current warehouse site. The client Nornie Bero is a Female Torres Strait Islander Chef who heralds both women and native ingredients.
The concept for this restaurant was based on Nornie’s resilience through her career, life and her chosen native ingredients. This quote captures what Nornie shines through her cooking.

The concept of resilience is captured through nature - specifically through ants and how resilient the sum of their parts are.
