The California Zephyr has been a part of railroad history and taken millions of individuals across the United States. This project aims to reimagine the role trains can have when traveling. By using this particular train, owned by Amtrak, there is a sense of nostalgia of the past adventures previous guests had.

The viewing car hosts large windows for guests to sit and watch different landscapes pass by as they trek from California to Illinois. Dining cars are a perfect place for individuals to dine together or separately. Different rooms are suited for multiple guests and all of their needs as they stay overnight if needed.

This moving space is meant to invite all guests to experience elegance and comfort on the way to their next destination.

Bio
I am currently studying at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I will be graduating in June with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Interior Design. I am also minoring in Architectural History.

As a designer I find it important to create experiences in all spaces I design. I believe that spaces have the power to influence and inspire individuals within a community. By all sharing a similar experience, it allows for members of the community to feel more connected.
